Eligibility Criteria:-
Educational Qualification:
- 12th(+2Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks.
- For accounts clerk cum Typist and Junior clerk cum typist, Typing proficiency in English / Hindi on Computer is essential.
Age Limit:- As on 01.01.2025
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 33 years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories. for more details, refer the advertisement here.
- This includes a relaxation of 3 years in age beyond the prescribed age limit as a one-time measure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Exam Fess:-
₹ 500/-. an amount of ₹400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st stage CBT.
₹ 250/- for SC,ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities or
Economically Backward Class (EBC). ₹ 250/-shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st stage CBT.
Selection Process:-
There shall be two stage Computer Based Test (CBTs) followed by “Computer based Typing Skill Test (TST) wherever applicable”
- Typing Skill Test for Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Clerk cum Typist.
- Subsequently, there will be document verification and medical examination.
- For Commercial cum Ticket Clerk and Trains Clerk there shall be two stage CBT followed by document verification and medical examination.
Stage I – Computer-Based Test (CBT 1):

Important Point to Remember:-

There will be negative marking @1/ 3rd mark of allotted mark for every wrong answer in CBT.
- Candidate should apply for only one RRB and only one common application. Candidates who submit more than one application against this CEN will be summarily rejected.
- Shortlisting of Candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in 1st Stage CBT.
- Shortlisting of Candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in 1st Stage CBT.
- The normalized marks scored by the candidate in the 2nd stage CBT shall be used for short listing the candidates for document verification for the posts which do not have Typing Skill Test. For the posts having Typing Skill Test, the normalized marks scored by the candidate in the 2nd stage CBT shall be used for shortlisting the candidates for Typing Skill Test.
