Educational Qualification:
- Junior Engineer (JE): Diploma/Degree in Engineering in relevant disciplines from a recognized institution.
- Junior Engineer (Information Technology): PGDCA/B.Sc (Computer Science)/BCA/B.Tech (IT)/B.Tech (Computer Science)/DOEACC ‘B’ Level Course of 3 years duration or equivalent from recognized university/institute.
- Depot Material Superintendent (DMS): Diploma/Degree in Engineering from any discipline.
- Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA): Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 45% marks.
Age Limit:- As on 01.01.2025
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 36 years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.
Exam Fess:-
₹ 500/-. an amount of ₹400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st stage CBT.
₹ 250/- for SC,ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities or
Economically Backward Class (EBC). ₹ 250/-shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st stage CBT.
Selection Process:-
The selection process for RRB Junior Engineer includes several stages:
Stage I – Computer-Based Test (CBT 1):
- Exam Pattern:–Objective type.
- Total Marks: 100.
- Duration: 90 minutes.
Stage II – Computer-Based Test (CBT 2):
- Exam Pattern:
- Objective type questions.
- Total Marks: 150.
- Duration: 120 minutes.
Document Verification and Medical Examination:
- Candidates who qualify in both CBT 1 and CBT 2 will be called for document verification.
- After document verification, candidates will undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the medical standards required for the post.
